LEADER IN TRAINING: L.I.T.

Rock Solid's Leader In Training (L.I.T.) program assists the camper that desires, in the future, to apply for a paying job whether with Rock Solid as a counselor, lifeguard or with some other organization.

Created by Rock Solid CEO, Shelley McMillian, the tasks and structure is based on years of experience working with youth in athletics, camps, as well as a broad spectrum of leadership training and public service.  It is her goal to build leadership, teach job related skills, while promoting positive ways to serve the community.  While there is no guarantee for employment with Rock Solid, L.I.T. stands out as a top choice in the area to assist youth on the path to becoming dynamic leaders in diverse environments.

CAUTION: THIS MAY NOT BE FOR YOU

L.I.T. program is NOT for older campers that just want more “freedom.” There is a level of responsibility expected and challenges they will face to grow as a leader. While it is the next jump up from traditional camp, with more independence, the goal is to make lifelong friends and developed skills that will last well past the end of summer.
